Studying MBA in the China Europe International Business School
The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS)'s Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program is an intensive 18-month program. The program is broken down into 4 parts:
Core curriculum – 11 units on basic business management subjects such as Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing and so on.
Electives – Here you can choose 8 electives of your interest from a wide range of units.
Practicum period – This is done in your 3 rd term at CEIBS. You will either have a group consultancy project or you will undergo an internship period of 6 weeks.
Integration – This is the period of your MBA where you will learn to practice and apply all that you have learnt. Just another 3 classes in this section and you are done!

To qualify for a China Europe International Business School MBA program, all you need is a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), a minimum of 2 years full time working experience and either a good score on GMAT (Graduate Management admissions Test) or the CEIBS Admissions Test. They have stocked up over 23,000 volumes of books (both in English and Chinese) as well as connections to some of the best electronic resources. You can access those resources via home (remote modem) or using the Academic Centre. The centre itself is an area that you will enjoy. It has all the modern furnishings and technologies that make a great learning centre. Apart from computers you can use, they also have discussion and study rooms open for your convenience, as well as massive and well made lecture theatres that were made for teaching and learning.

A unique experience and the best of both East and West is what I think you will find at the China Europe International Business School . Shanghai itself is an incredible city that is very enjoyable to live it. It is surprisingly cosmopolitan and is a great place to learn about business management, what with the number of investors and businesses moving into the area. Furthermore, I like CEIBS's way of taking real life examples and letting you learn and experience true business situations rather than dry learning from the text. Activities-wise, there isn't much offered by the school so you will have to learn to find your entertainment elsewhere. Shouldn't be too difficult though since you will be in Shanghai , the Pearl of the Orient.
